Buin is reached by the micro from La Cisterna Metro station for 1500CLP with blue micro, ask around for right direction, metro station has few exits.However Shell in Buin is inside the town so you get mostly local cars. Yellow line you see is a shoulder road separated from autopista by fence and is a bit senseless. Driver point that they entering the town and very few leaves it to further south.

Going south: Wait directly next to the motorway. There is a lot of space to stop, busses pick up people here although its not an official stop. Trucks will stop as well. Good for long distance.Well reachable from santiago main station for ~3$.
